Tony Hawk's Big Spin: Riders will grab some serious airtime and get the sensation of freestyle skateboarding as they twist and turn on this thrilling rollercoaster! Tony Hawk's Big Spin opens this spring.

Starburst Thursday Night Concert Series: The hottest up and coming talent will be featured every week at Six Flags Over Texas (Thursdays only).   The concerts are FREE with park admission; purchase a Season Pass and you can come all summer long. Starburst Thursday Night Concert series runs July 3- August 21; Menudo is scheduled to appear July 3 and Raven is scheduled to appear on August 21.

Fly Me to the Moon- 3D: It's the first-ever computer animated feature film designed, created and produced from the first frame, exclusively for the 3D experience.  The fact-based fictional film follows three teen-aged flies on an incredible adventure as they become part of history - stowing away inside the space helmets of Commanders Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins on the Apollo 11 mission that marked America's landing on the moon.   Fly Me to the Moon-3D, an animated feature film releasing this summer, features the voices of Kelly Ripa, Christopher Lloyd, and Nicolette Sheridan.

Cirque Dreams Coobrila presented by Time Warner Cable: The award-winning Cirque Dreams Coobrila show is back by popular demand with several new acts this year!  This show pleaser will again amaze, mesmerize, and electrify guests as they watch a world-class spectacle of lights, sounds, imagery and unprecedented showmanship.  Cirque Dreams Coobrila runs June 14- August 17.

American Music Awards: Rewind- Take a video walk through pop music history as we present the most memorable moments from four decades of Dick Clark's American Music Awards. You'll see highlights of legendary performances by some of your favorite pop stars.

Academy of Country Music Awards: Back Trax - Grab a front row seat and witness country music history as well as great moments from Dick Clark's Academy of Country Music Awards through the last four decades. You'll be blown away by the most memorable on-stage moments from some of country music's popular and legendary artists.

3-Point Challenge sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods: It's the guest's opportunity to be an NBA All Star!  In this new basketball game, guests shoot as many baskets from 3-point range at several different positions within in 40 seconds.

Wii Experience: This favorite is coming back for 2008.  Guests can experience the Nintendo Wii, the hottest gaming system complete with motion-sensitive controllers and new games.

The tradition of live shows continues with Sam Houston's Texas at Lone Star Theatre, Showboats Comin' and Texas Justice (Western Gun Fight Show) Court House.

Six Flags Over Texas is open on weekends and for spring break, March 12-23.  Daily operation begins May 16.
