Ignite your holiday spirit at Six Flags Over Texas’
Holiday in the Park
Come celebrate the season as the park transforms into a magical wonderland
Everything you need to get into the holiday spirit can be found at Six Flags Over Texas during Holiday in the Park. From more than a million twinkling lights, holiday shows, toasty campfires, delicious hot cocoa, and roller coasters, to the nearly 60 foot Holiday Tree of Trees, Santa Land and of course Santa Claus. Special moments and thrills await you at North Texas’ largest holiday festival.
Santa Land: With all the holiday magic in the air, it’s no wonder Santa Claus has set up shop at Six Flags Over Texas. Kids of all ages will squeal with joy as they hop on the Santa Land Express train to Santa Land. From there the winter wonderland fantasy takes guests to Mrs. Claus’s North Pole Emporium for story time. Then guests are ushered to meet with the Sugar Plum Fairy. As excitement builds, guests are whisked into Santa’s workshop to enjoy a personal visit with the park’s head elf— Jolly ‘Ol Saint Nick.
Holiday Tree of Trees Light Spectacular: Don’t be surprised if “wow” becomes the only word in your vocabulary! This show continues to drop the jaws of everyone that gazes. Towering nearly 60 feet in the air, 70 beautifully trimmed trees and thousands of lights dance to a holiday score that is sure to brighten spirits.
The FRSOTY Snowhill: Why travel to the North Pole when there’s a 100% chance of snow in Texas! Guests of all ages are welcome to experience the thrill of a fresh powder plunge down Frosty’s Snow Hill. This thrilling drop is sure to lift a grin on all who experience it.
Six Flags Over Texas also produces seven spectacular holiday stage productions, featuring the following main performances:
“All I Want For Christmas” is an entertaining visit to a magical Christmas toy shop where the proprietress makes holiday dreams come true.
“Deck the Halls” is a holiday vocal harmony from four friends who get together for a special holiday party.
“Honky Tonk Christmas” is a Texas twist on Christmas.
“A Jolly Holiday” is our end of the evening show featuring all of our performers in a very special Victorian themed presentation.
This year the spirit of the season begins Thanksgiving weekend and runs through January 6, 2013. For more information, visit www.sixflags.com/overtexas.
