Six Flags Over Texas celebrates its annual Holiday in the Park, November 27 -
January 3. Holiday in the Park delights all of the senses, with over one million lights, top-of-the-line holiday-themed shows, unsurpassed rides, and our toasty seasonal treats. And don't worry about dragging your sled to the North Pole to find snow this year. Six Flags Over Texas brings it to you, with our very own snow hill made for sledding!
NEW — Santa Land
Follow the snowflakes or ride the Santa Express to the most magical place in the park — Santa Land. You will be welcomed to Santa's workshop by the angelic Snow Princesses, amusing elves and even a beautiful Snow Queen. Were you good this year? Visit Santa while he builds toys for all the little boy and little girls and crawl into his lap to tell him what you'd like for Christmas.
After visiting Santa guests will have the opportunity to continue the holiday experience inside Santa Land:
- Santa's Secret Shoppe: This little location just for the little ones will feature a kid-sized door and special gifts for Mom and Dad all under $7.00.
- Gifts Galore! Purchase Christmas ornaments, including ornaments made from authentic Texas Giant wood, as well as wrapped holiday gifts in the lobby of Santa Land.
- Say Cheese! Kodak will have photo opportunities with Santa and the Snow Queen.
Frosty Snow Hill
Trying to find snow flurries in Dallas isn't easy. So Six Flags Over Texas brings the white stuff to you with the Frosty Snow Hill. After you experience the thrills of our world-class rides and attractions, feel the chills on our snow sledding hill. Located at the Music Mill Amphitheatre entrance (weather permitting).
New — Tree of Trees
Watch as a 56 foot tree made up of hundreds of little Evergreen trees is lit in an electrifying light display. The first lighting will be at 6:30 p.m. with shows every hour on the half hour.
Tis' the Season for Delicious Food
We have all kinds of holiday food from candy canes and toffee to warm cider and hot chocolate. But it doesn't end with sweet treats. Get holiday helpings of smoked turkey legs, corn on the cob, foot-long hot dogs, sausage-on-a-stick and fajitas. Check out all of our festive food choices.
The Santa Express Train Ride
All aboard! The Texas Train Depot will be magically transformed into The Santa Express which will put you on the fast track to Santa Land! Upon boarding The Santa Express, guest will experience the excitement only found in the North Pole. Guests will listen to a reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and even sing carols all the way to Santa Land. Once the train pulls in to Boomtown Depot riders will be greeted by Santa's Elves and routed towards Santa Land. A distinguished path will guide you all the way to Santa's doorstep.

Hours of Operation
Holiday in the Park will be open from November 27 through January 3 with varied hours. Check back for specific times and dates.
This seasonal celebration offers a different park experience than that found during the regular operating season. Therefore, the Gotham area, parts of the Tower Section, Aquaman, El Aserradero and Texas Giant will not be available. A complete listing of operational rides can be found here.
As an added bonus, guests will be able to enjoy Johnny Rockets restaurant along with the Batwing and Crazy Legs rides in the Gotham section of the park on Saturdays during Holiday in the Park.
Note: All of Six Flags Holiday in the Park shows and attractions are in high demand and well attended. Doors for all shows open approximately 15 minutes prior to publish show times. Waiting lines for entry tend to form early, so plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to show time. Shows start promptly at published show times. No late seating or re-entry permitted.
*Due to their popularity, "All I Want For Christmas" and "The Crazy Horse Saloon's Honky Tonk Christmas" on our busier days may require a free entry ticket available at the theatre. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis and will be distributed for the next available show only, limited to four per guest. ALL SHOWTIMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
