Six Flags Friends is a series of programs throughout the Six Flags family of parks that make a difference in communities by encouraging local involvement, supporting the mission of various non-profit organizations and bringing the thrill of Six Flags to children and families across North America.
Six Flags Friends is a proud supporter of hundreds of organizations throughout our Six Flags communities. Through our national partnerships, we successfully utilize our geographic span to make a difference as a unified family of parks. Six Flags Over Texas is also pleased to support the work of local organizations that make an impact in our surrounding neighborhoods. It is the work of the organizations below that truly make our cities a better place to live, work and enjoy.

Dallas City Mayor's Summer Program
The "Mayor's Summer Reading Challenge" is designed to encourage the city's children to read throughout the summer so that they can maintain, and even improve, the reading skills they work to develop during the school year. Six Flags Friends is proud to reward children who read over the summer with tickets to
Six Flags Over Texas.
Arlington Public Library
Six Flags strives to provide thrills and entertainment to each of our guests and recognizes that reading is the ultimate ticket to your imagination and endless thrills. With each ticket we donate to the Summer Reading Program, we hope to provide a day of a fun inside our gates and adventure within the pages of a great book.
Boys and Girls Club (Arlington, Fort Worth, Richardson)
The Boys and Girls Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Six Flags is happy to open our gates to the children of the Boys and Girls Club and provide a safe and friendly environment for them to share with each other.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
The Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth. Six Flags is proud to provide a platform for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program to develop positive relationships between mentors and children while enjoying a day at Six Flags Over Texas.
Ronald McDonald House
By creating, finding and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is working to better the lives of children and their families around the world. Six Flags Friends is proud to sponsor The Ronald McDonald Golf Classic by donating tickets to raise funds for this charity.
Great Strides
Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national event. Six Flags Friends is proud to be a host of the annual walk to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis at Six Flags Over Texas. To find out more information, please visit http://www.cff.org/great_strides.
Make a Wish Foundation
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. Six Flags is proud to be a part of this amazing wish-granting organization and is excited to fulfill the wishes of children who dream of visiting Six Flags Over Texas.
Children's Medical Center Night
Each year, Family night at Six Flags Over Texas draws an attendance of more than 10,000 Guests to benefit Children's Medical Center. Since its creation in 1969, Family Night at Six Flags has raised more than $10 million for Children's and help fund lifesaving work.
The Gladney Fund
The Gladney Fund exists for the purpose of funding bright futures through adoption. By providing financial support for the Gladney Center for Adoption, the Center can continue to place children into loving families and continue to communicate the message of adoption as a loving way to build a family. Six Flags Friends is a supporters of the Gladney Fund and committed to their mission.
Red Carpet Day - Heart of Passion
Each year Six Flags Friends & the Heart of Passion rolls out the Red Carpet for young adults battling cancer and invites them to experience an exclusive day at Six Flags Over Texas. With personal meet and greets by our Looney Tunes characters, exciting rides and shows just for them, each guest can leave their worry at the gate and experience "Red Carpet" treatment all day long!
The Heart of Passion is dedicated to helping young adults with cancer to promote friendships, inspire confidence and create lasting memories. Six Flags Friends is happy to provide the venue where this mission can come to life. It is exciting to watch as "Six Flags Friends" are made and lasting memories are created throughout this day of luxury.
