SIX FLAGS ATLANTA PROPERTIES ANNOUNCES 2008 JOB FAIR
Parks' annual recruitment process will hire more than 2,400 seasonal employees

AUSTELL, Ga. (January 14, 2008) - USA Arcade. The Cartoon Candy Kitchen. The Monster Plantation. These eclectic locations are just a few of the exciting areas in search of enthusiastic individuals for the 2008 season at Six Flags Atlanta Properties. In fact, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water plan to hire more than 2,400 part-time staffers to help run two of the largest amusement parks in the Southeast. The job fair that kicks off the hiring season will be held at the Six Flags Over Georgia Crystal Pistol on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The sixth largest employer in Cobb County, Six Flags has positions open for the following areas:
Food Service
Park Service 
Ticket Service
Toll Booth attendants
Merchandising
Ride Operations Games Loss Prevention
Human Resources
Security Officers
Cash Control
Lifeguards

Before attending the job fair, applicants must visit www.sixflagsjobs.com to fill out an online application. Those who have not completed an online application will not be able to participate in the Jan. 19 job fair, but may return to the employment office to apply at a later date. The Six Flags Employment Office holds regularly scheduled hours beginning Jan. 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every Tuesday through Saturday.

Those attending the job fair should park in the West Parking Lot and receive further instructions inside the applicant tent. Qualified applicants will go through a series of screenings. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to apply.

The seasonal employment schedule begins with weekends in March through May (unless otherwise noted); daily operation during April 5 - 12 and from May 23 - Aug. 10. Weekend employment resumes in August through Nov. 2.
