Six Flags Over Georgia Opens March 17th with $19.67 Ticket
Six Flags Over Georgia is opening its gates for the park’s 45th season on Saturday, March 17 to kickoff Opening Weekend, presented by Lowe’s. Guests who donate six or more non-perishable food items to MUST Ministries- a local food pantry- can receive a special admission price of only $19.67 per person, a price commemorating the park’s inaugural season in 1967.
“We are thrilled to welcome the first guests for our 45th season here at
Six Flags Over Georgia” said Park President Melinda Ashcraft. “What better way to kickoff the season than to offer an incredible ticket price while at the same time helping hundreds of needy families throughout the Atlanta community”.
Any guest that donates six or more non-perishable food items on the day of their visit will receive a coupon to purchase a one-day admission pass for only $19.67. The offer is only valid on March 17 and 18. Suggested items to donate include canned meats, dry milk, beans and canned vegetables. A full list of accepted items can be found online at sixflags.com.
The park will also give the first 1,045 guests on Saturday, March 17 a free commemorative ticket to return to the park on Saturday, June 16 for a 45th anniversary celebration. Six Flags Over Georgia opened its gates for the first time to guests on June 16 in 1967 as the second park in the Six Flags chain.
Six Flags Over Georgia is also gearing up for its 45th season with the addition of all-new shows. Don’t miss iLuminate™, an incredible dance show featuring state-of-the-art light-up costumes and stunning visual effects – all in the dark!
