Six Flags Atlanta Properties Reschedules 2008 Job Fair

Parks' annual recruitment process will hire more than 2,400 seasonal employees

Due to last weekend's inclement weather, Six Flags Atlanta Properties is rescheduling its 2008 job fair for Friday, January 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This season, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water plan to hire more than 2,400 part-time staffers to help run two of the largest amusement parks in the Southeast. The rescheduled job fair will be held at the Six Flags Over Georgia Crystal Pistol.

The sixth largest employer in Cobb County, Six Flags has positions open for the following areas:

  • Food Service
  • Games
  • Park Service
  • Loss Prevention
  • Ticket Service
  • Human Resources
  • Toll Booth attendants
  • Security Officers
  • Merchandising
  • Cash Control
  • Ride Operations
  • Lifeguards

    Before attending the job fair, applicants must visit www.sixflagsjobs.com to fill out an online application. Those who have not completed an online application will not be able to participate in the January 25 job fair, but may return to the employment office to apply at a later date. The Six Flags Employment Office holds regularly scheduled hours beginning January 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every Tuesday through Saturday.

    Those attending the job fair should park in the West Parking Lot and receive further instructions inside the applicant tent. Qualified applicants will go through a series of screenings. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to apply.

    The seasonal employment schedule begins with weekends in March through May (unless otherwise noted); daily operation during April 5-13 and from May 23 - August 10. Weekend employment resumes in August through November 2.
