Spring Break-Out Special at Six Flags Over Georgia!
The best local destination for a thrilling vacation takes place April 5 - 13!
As metro Atlantans make their plans for Spring Break, Six Flags Over Georgia is packing in even more value as the most thrilling and affordable destination in town! The park announced today that it will offer a buy one, get one free online ticket special for Spring Breakers who are staying close to home this year for the local vacation that takes place April 5 — 13. Guests can visit www.sixflags.com to take advantage of the Spring Break-Out special.
"With the economy struggling as it is right now, we know that more families are going to stay closer to home for Spring Break, which is why we created this offer," said Park president Melinda Ashcraft. "As the largest regional theme park in the Southeast, we always over deliver in what we offer for Spring Break, and guests have always had a great time at the park. If you haven't been out the park yet this year, I encourage everyone to come visit and see the incredible experience it really is."
The park will be adding special contests and events in addition to the live entertainment, 10 thrilling roller coasters and variety of shows the park already offers during its Spring Break-Out, which is presented by BallPark. The new Johnny Rockets restaurant will be open during Spring Break, and on April 10 — 12, the park is hosting a Guitar Hero competition where kids and adults can show off their skills.
Also featured during Spring Break Out this season is the U.S. Army's Virtual Army Experience. Guests will have the chance to engage with state-of-the-art military technology in a virtual mission. This team-based experience immerses participants in the operational roles of soldiers and will be open to the public and free with park admission from April 11 — 13. From Army Special Forces vehicle simulators to TOW anti-tank missiles, the Virtual Army Experience will provide guests with insight into today's Army. On their virtual mission, participants will choose from a variety of activities and utilize teamwork, rules of engagement, leadership and high-tech equipment.
Six Flags Over Georgia will be open from 10am — 9pm on Saturdays in April and 10:30am — 8pm on Sundays and everyday from April 6 — 11. For additional information, including hours, pricing, events and more, visit www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia.
