GENERAL INFORMATION

Hurricane Harbor is bigger, better, and wetter than ever and we want you to enjoy all of it. Read over the helpful tips and guidelines below, so you'll know how to take in all the splashy fun while you're here.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is open May 22 - September 7.


CABANA RENTAL

Located next to Commotion Ocean, this private cabana includes VIP treatment in a tropical setting. Prices start at $150 and range up to $200 for a luxury cabana. Availability is limited. Cabana's cannot be reserved online, except as part of a VIP Tour. Please reserve your Cabana with the attendant stationed next to a Commotion Ocean on the day of your visit.

SHOWER FACILITIES

We request that you shower before and after entering our pools. We provide showering and changing facilities inside Hurricane Harbor. Lockers are available for an additional fee.

TUBE RENTALS

Tubes are available at those rides that require them. You may use your tube once then hand it to the next person in line. If you would rather rent your own personal tube for the day, you can pick one up at the Raft Rental Building located across from the Monsoon Lagoon Changing Rooms.

LIFE VESTS

Guests not confident in their swimming abilities may request life vests, a limited number of which are available free of charge. Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal life vests are permitted inside Hurricane Harbor.

FIRST AID

Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians are always on duty at our First Aid Station, located behind Monsoon Marge's gift shop.

LOST CHILDREN

Please pre-arrange a meeting time and place with your children, in case they get lost. Pages cannot be broadcast in Hurricane Harbor, except for medical emergencies. Children who are separated from their parties will be escorted to Lost Parents.

DRESS CODE

Proper swimwear is required at all times. The following is NOT permitted:

  • Provocative swimwear
  • Long pants
  • Swimwear with rivets, buckles, zippers, or any metal ornamentation
  • Jeans or cut-offs
  • Thong bathing suits

All children wearing diapers must wear an approved waterproof diaper, available at Monsoon Marge's Gift Shop, as well as appropriate swimwear. Infants' diapers may not be changed on pool decks or lounge chairs.

Shoes are not allowed on any attraction, but you can wear aqua socks (except on slides). You must change into proper attire, including cover-ups and shoes, before returning to the theme park.

WATERPARK RULES

Hurricane Harbor contains a vast array of rides and attractions. Each guest assumes the ordinary physical risk associated with normal operation of such rides and attractions.

  • Coolers and/or glass containers  are not permitted.
  • Personal inner tubes or air mattresses are not permitted.
  • Lifejackets are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be returned before leaving the waterpark.
  • During periods of high activity, it may become necessary to close pools briefly to maintain water clarity.
  • Swimming in Commotion Ocean, Hurricane Bay and Monsoon Lagoon can be physically tiring; therefore, they close for 15 minutes every hour.
  • If you choose to bring your own personal flotation safety device, it must be U.S. Coast Guard-approved.
  • When attendance is high, the Hurricane Harbor entrance may be closed temporarily due to park capacity.
  • SMOKING IS PROHIBITED in all areas of Hurricane Harbor except for designated areas in the Red Schooner and Wahoo's Tiki Bar.
  • All children under the age of 12 must be within an arms reach of a parent or guardian.
