Six Flags New England 2012 Audition Tour

New England theme park hiring performers for season of brand-new shows 

Six Flags New England, the northeast’s destination for thrilling family entertainment, announces audition dates for the 2012 season of shows. The Park seeks dancers, actors, specialty acts, and superhero and character performers to entertain Six Flags New England guests along with back stage support including sound & light technicians and costume repair.  Shows at Six Flags New England will include a magic show with dance assistants, street drum line, character shows, comic streetmosphere and interactive family shows.  Summer performances will commence in April 2012 with others added Memorial Day Weekend.  Many opportunities extend through October for the Park’s popular Fright Fest season.


Auditions will take place on the following dates and locations:

• Sunday, February 19, 11:00am – 5:00pm
   o Six Flags New England, Human Resource Ctr., 1756 Main St, Agawam, MA

• Friday, February 24, 1:00pm – 6:00pm
   o Holyoke Community College, Forum Theater, 303 Homestead Ave, Holyoke, MA

• Saturday, February 25, 11:00am – 5:00pm
   o Six Flags New England, Human Resource Ctr., 1756 Main St, Agawam, MA

• Thursday, March 8th, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
   o U-Mass Amherst, Fine Arts Center, Rm. 201, Amherst, MA

• Friday, March 9th, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
   o Six Flags New England, Human Resource Ctr., 1756 Main St, Agawam, MA


All prospective entertainers must pre-register for auditions by visiting sixflagjobs.com and completing an online application. Prospective performers attending the auditions should bring a resume and headshot and dress comfortably as dancing or movement may be requested of all applicants. Those applying for acting roles in productions should also prepare a one-minute comic monologue.  Dancers and character performers will learn a 2-minute hip-hop/jazz routine.  Interested performers not able to attend the audition events may send resumes and headshots to the Six Flags New England Entertainment Department, PO Box 307, Agawam, MA 01001.
