Official Rules

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR
WIN THE PROMOTION. MANY WILL ENTER, ONLY ONE WILL WIN.
PROMOTION BEGINS AT 11:59 P.M. EASTERN TIME ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2008 AND
ENDS AT 11:59 P.M. EASTERN TIME ON OCTOBER 17, 2008.

1. Sponsors: The Six Flags/Snickers® Ultimate Trick-or-Treat Destination Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Six Flags Theme Parks Inc., 1540 Broadway, 15th Floor, New York, NY 10036 and Mars Snackfood US, LLC, 800 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 (together, “Sponsors”).
    
2. Eligibility: The Promotion is only open to participants who, as of the entry date, are legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States (i.e., excluding the States of Alaska and Hawaii) and the District of Columbia, who are thirteen (13) years of age or older, and who live within a 30 mile radius from the following locations (as determined by Sponsors): Six Flags
   St. Louis (Eureka, MO), Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA), Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ), Six Flags Great America (Gurnee, IL), Six Flags Over Georgia (Austell, GA), Six Flags San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), Six Flags Over Texas (Arlington, TX), Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (Vallejo, CA), Six Flags New England (Agawam, MA), Six Flags America (Bowie, Mitchellville, MA), and The Great Escape (Queensbury, NY) (collectively, the "Participating Parks"). The Promotion is void in all other jurisdictions and where prohibited or restricted by law. The respective employees, officers and directors of Sponsors, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the "Promotion Entities"), and the immediate families (defined as parents, spouses, children, siblings, grandparents, and their respective spouses) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of each such employee, officer and director, are not eligible to enter.
    
3. Promotion Period: The Promotion begins at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time on September 19, 2008 and ends at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time on October 17, 2008 (the "Promotion Period").
    
4. How To Enter; Submissions; Compliance With Official Rules And Decisions:
   
   
   1. There are two (2) methods of entry in the Promotion:
       

      1) Online Method of Entry: During the Promotion Period, go to www.sixflags.com (the "Website") and complete the online registration form as required. Participants who do not desire to enter online may enter by mail as provided below.
       
      2) Mail-In Method of Entry: During the Promotion Period, hand print your name, complete address including zip code, date of birth, home phone number and email address (if any) on a plain 3" x 5"piece of paper and mail it in a hand-addressed, stamped envelope, to: Snickers Fright Fest Sweepstakes, Six Flags Theme Parks Inc., 924 Avenue J East,
      Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Mechanically reproduced or photocopied mail-in entries will
      not be accepted. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by October 17, 2008 and received by October 20, 2008.
       

   2. You may enter as often as you wish, regardless of method of entry. Entries must be complete to be eligible. All entries, regardless of method of entry, must be submitted during the Promotion Period. Failure to submit all required information and submissions in the manner required in these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsors. All participants and entries are subject to verification by Sponsors. Any submission that does not comply with any aspect of these Official Rules may be rejected by Sponsors and the participant disqualified.
       
   3. By participating in the Promotion, each participant (and his/her parent or legal guardian, if applicable) fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors (including, without limitation, decisions regarding eligibility of entries, the selection of the winner, and the awarding of the prize), which are final and binding in all respects. All participants and entries are subject to verification by Sponsors.
       
   4. Sponsors reserve the right to conduct a background check on any or all participants, and Sponsors reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual based on such background check if Sponsors determines in its sole discretion that awarding a prize to any such individual might reflect negatively on Sponsors. Participants will cooperate with Sponsors and its representatives in connection with any and all verification and background check activities.
       
5. Conditions for Participation and Validation of Entries. Entries generated by a script, macro, robotic or other automated means will be disqualified. You may enter as often as you wish (regardless of method of entry), systems permitting, however, USE OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS TO ENTER AND/OR OTHER AUTOMATIC ENTRY METHODS (SUCH AS HACKS OR BOTS), REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY, IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify, and block or discard all entries from any individual who enters by any kind of electronic, mechanical or other automated means or otherwise tampers with or hacks the entry process as determined by the Sponsors in their sole discretion. Sponsors also reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion in the event of a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical or system failure or disruption, force majeure or any other causes which, in their sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Promotion and award the prize in a random drawing from all eligible entries received (regardless of method) prior to cancellation. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
    
6. Drawing: The winner in the Promotion will be randomly selected on or about October 20, 2008 from among all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted by representatives of
   Six Flags Theme Parks Inc. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
    
7. Prize: Subject to these Official Rules, one (1) prize will be awarded in the Promotion. The prize consists of (and is limited to only) the following: (A) Fright Fest branded-decorations for the outside of the winner's home; (B) an in-home visit by up to four of Fright Fest's themed characters; (C) four (4) season passes valid for the 2009 operating season at the
   Participating Park nearest winner's home; (D) four (4) single-day admission tickets to Fright Fest at the Participating Park nearest winner's home valid for the weekend of Halloween 2008 (November 1-2, 2008); and (E) a selection of candy. All elements of the prize will be
   determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Winner's home will be decorated on or about October 30, 2008 by Six Flags Theme Parks Inc. employees and the decorations will be removed by such employees by November 1, 2008; any upgrade or option is at the sole expense, and are the sole responsibility, of the winner.
   
   Winner is solely responsible for any and all costs, fees, taxes and expenses associated with prize award, receipt and use not expressly specified herein as part of the prize, including, without limitation, transportation costs, meals, gratuities and other costs and expenses incurred by the winner in accepting the prize, and all federal, state and local taxes on the prize. The approximate retail value of the prize in the Promotion is estimated to be U.S. $1,740. The winner will be issued a United States Internal Revenue Service 1099 tax form reflecting the actual value of the prize. Prize is nontransferable and no substitution is allowed except by the Sponsors who reserve the right to award a prize of equal or greater value. Promotion Entities assume no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of prize, including but not limited to damage to winner's home or property. Unused components of the prize shall be forfeited and have no redeemable cash value.
    
8. Winner Notification: The participant selected as the potential winner of the Promotion must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Winner will be notified by telephone. Except where prohibited by law, the potential winner (and his/her parent or legal guardian, if applicable) will be required to execute and return to Sponsors an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (the "Affidavit/Release") in order to claim the prize. The Affidavit/Release must be returned to Sponsors by the date and/or time indicated on the Affidavit/Release. For a potential winner who is a minor in his/her state of residency, the minor's parent or legal guardian must also verify and confirm the participant's and such parent's or legal guardian's agreement to the Affidavit/Release in order to claim the prize. If the potential winner is not present at the time of the call and a telephone message can be left by Sponsors at that time, the potential winner will have forty-eight (48) hours to return the call and accept the prize. If a telephone message cannot be left by Sponsors at a potential prize winner's phone number when the Sponsors place the notification call, or if the potential prize winner does not return the notification call within forty-eight (48) hours of Sponsors' first attempt to contact the potential prize winner by telephone, or if the potential winner (or his/her parent or legal guardian, if applicable) fails to return the Affidavit/Release within the specified time, or if the potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if the potential winner (or his/her parent or legal guardian, if applicable) does not comply with these Official Rules, then the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner selected in his/her place from among the remaining non-winning entries. In such event, an alternate potential winner will be notified by Sponsors by telephone as described above and will be required to return the required documents to Sponsors as described above, however, Sponsors, in their sole discretion, may adjust the above timing and delivery requirements to accommodate Sponsors' contest schedule, and due to such schedule and timing, Sponsors may be unable to award the prize. Sponsors are not responsible for the failure of a potential winner to receive Sponsors' telephone message or the required documents for any reason, or for the inability of such potential winner to return Sponsors' telephone message or the required documents for any reason. In the event of a prize forfeiture, no compensation or other payments will be given.
    
9. General Conditions: By entering the Promotion, all entrants fully and unconditionally agree and accept to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which shall be final. The Promotion Entities are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, illegible, mutilated, mistranscribed, misdirected, incorrect, incomplete, ineligible, unintelligible entries or postage-due mail; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software program, network, Internet or computer failures or difficulties; (iii) errors in transmission; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond their control that may cause the Promotion to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize, or from participation in the Promotion; or (vi) any printing or typographical error in any materials associated with these Official Rules or the Promotion generally. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by their participation in the Promotion and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize, and release the Promotion Entities and their respective officers, directors, employees, parents, subsidiaries and affiliates from any and all such liability. The Promotion Entities and their respective officers, directors, employees, parents, subsidiaries and affiliates assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Promotion. PLEASE NOTE THAT A HIGH VOLUME OF ENTRIES, ONLINE, OR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH THE SYSTEM, MAY RESULT IN TEMPORARY INABILITY TO ENTER THE PROMOTION OR A DELAY IN THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES SUCH THAT YOUR ENTRY IS NOT RECEIVED IN TIME TO PARTICIPATE. THE PROMOTION ENTITIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE SHOULD ANY ENTRY NOT BE RECEIVED DUE TO SUCH DELAYS. Sponsors may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Promotion, if at the sole discretion of Sponsors, such person shows a disregard for these Official Rules, or acts (1) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsors or their agents or representatives; or (2) in any other disruptive manner.
    
10. Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion constitutes the winner's consent for Sponsors and their designees to record and photograph the winner at any prize activity and to use winner's name, biography, likeness, voice, photograph, statements, hometown, state and any recording or film of winner for promotional purposes in any manner or media (including, without limitation, on the Internet), worldwide, in perpetuity, and without further notice, payment, consideration or consent.
     
11. Release: By entering the Promotion, each participant forever and irrevocably releases and holds harmless Sponsors and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents (including advertising and promotion agencies), contest partners and prize suppliers, and all of the respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents of the foregoing from and against all claims, damages or liabilities arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participant's participation and/or entry in the Promotion and/or participant's award, receipt or use of any prize awarded in the Promotion.
     
12. Limitations of Liability: Neither Sponsor is responsible for: (a) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information or late, lost, stolen, unintelligible, illegible, damaged, mutilated, altered, incomplete, misdirected or postage due entries or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels, all of which will be disqualified; (b) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any telephone, computer online systems, computer equipment, website, server provider, network, hardware or software; (c) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any website or service; (d) unauthorized intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (e) printing, typographical, electronic or human errors which may occur in the offer or administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (f) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to participant's computer, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant's participation in the Promotion, or from viewing, playing or downloading any material from Sponsors' websites, regardless of whether the material was prepared by Sponsors or a third party, and regardless of whether the material is connected to Sponsors' websites by a hypertext link.
     
13. Disputes: Entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Promotion, or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively in a federal or state court located in New York, New York; entrant submits to sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts in the State of New York for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Promotion but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant or Sponsors in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules of provisions (whether of the State of New York, the United States, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York.
     
14. Data Collection: Sponsors collect personal information from participants when they enter the Promotion for use in administration of the Promotion. When entering at the Promotion's website, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional emails and information about Sponsors. Consenting to receive such emails and information is optional, and is not necessary to enter or win the Promotion, nor will it increase or improve your chances of winning. The information collected is subject to the privacy policies of Sponsors.
     
15. Winner's List: Beginning on or about October 30, 2008, you can obtain the name, city and state of the prize winner by visiting www.sixflags.com.
