Six Flags Friends is proud to join forces with Cure Kids Cancer to raise public awareness and funding for childhood cancers while helping children and families affected with pediatric cancer rekindle the thrill of life and spark a light of hope that our future will one day be cancer free.

Learn about "A Walk In The Park" and how Six Flags parks will unite to take strides to fight childhood cancers one step at a time.

Cure Kids Cancer is a national charity network of hospitals committed to help pediatric cancer patients find life-saving treatments close to home, provide resources to physicians focusing on finding cures for childhood cancers, and enrich the life of the patients and family members by providing them hope and help during treatment.

The funds raised through Cure Kids Cancer help pediatric cancer centers treat children battling this disease in their community through providing researchers the resources to aid them in their quest for cures, assist hospitals in strengthening various programs focused on childhood cancer, and providing financial assistance to patients and their families in need.

Cure Kids Cancer is aware that each year more than 15,000 children are diagnosed with some form of pediatric cancer.  Many of these children are treated at local and regional specialized children's cancer centers support by Cure Kids Cancer.  While the survivorship rate among pediatric cancer patients continues to rise, we are committed to continuing our efforts focused on research, education, and patient-assistance until childhood cancers are cured.
