Free Admission For A Bag of Groceries!
Six Flags Magic Mountain to Collect Food For The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank on Wednesday, November 23
For the ninth consecutive year, Six Flags Magic Mountain will collect food for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank during the annual "Bag-A-Ticket" holiday food drive. On Wednesday, November 23, guests who bring a full bag of non-perishable food items will receive a FREE park admission ticket, good for that day. All donated food will be given to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Through the public's generous donations, this drive continues to be one of the largest single-day food collection efforts for the Food Bank.
Park hours for Wednesday, November 23 are 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Food items will be collected from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Included on the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank's "Most Wanted" List are:
- Canned Goods: beef stew, ravioli, cannelloni, spaghetti, tuna, peanut butter, yams, chicken, beef, fruits, vegetables, soups, baby food
- Packaged Items: hot cereal (grits, oatmeal, etc.), mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, powdered eggs, complete meals, pancake mixes, baby cereal, rice
- Drinks: coffee, juices in non-breakable containers, supplemental drinks, baby formula, dry milk
The need for food supplies is at a record high and more families than ever are going hungry.
