Six Flags Magic Mountain Delivers Thrills by Day, Chills by Night
October 3,4, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25 and 30-31.
Six Flags Magic Mountain transforms from a “theme park” to a haunted “scream park” for the 17th season of Fright Fest Presented by SNICKERS®, Southern California's ultimate Halloween experience.
Six Flags Magic Mountain offers 13 days of terrifying haunted mazes, roaming zombies, the scariest clowns on the planet and spooky shows. If that's not enough, Six Flags Magic Mountain will add a “twisted” element to some of their monster coasters by turning off the lights, leaving riders to face their fears literally in the dark. And, the Fright Fest exclusive that coaster fanatics wait for all year … the transformation of one of the largest, most celebrated coasters in the world, Colossus BACKWARDS! Beginning October 3 and running for five frightfully fun weekends, Fright Fest leaves no tombstone unturned to bring guests the ultimate sensory overload for every range of fear. For the little monsters, a Trick or Treat Trail, Kid Scaryoke and a Costume Contest in Bugs Bunny World round out the activities.
This year's Fright Fest will feature two new mazes and a scare zone, including BITE, where sexy and sinister werewolves are out for a bite in this nest of the undead; Lector's Slaughterhouse, where guests will enter the world of the celebrity butcher taking wretched revenge on the bowels of society; and Aftermath Alley, a new scare zone featuring a civilization that haunts the living in a post apocalyptic world. Heckles and Twitch, the infamously popular, irreverent and off-beat clowns, will perform their crowd-pleasing brand of menacing dark humor three times a night in Gotham City Backlot.
Back for their 17th year of applying award-winning make-up, Scott Ramp and his “Scream Team” converts the 300-plus Fright Fest actors into ghouls, zombies, vampires and demons nightly.
Plus, dust off your thriller moves and join in the fun of the new Mr. Six Spooktacular Street Party. Traveling the park in the Fright Fest hearse, dancers and Mr. Six will thrill you and teach you the latest in dance moves.
Fright Fest hours are from 10:30 a.m. to midnight on Friday's and Saturday's, and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday's.
