Six Flags Hurricane Harbor opens for the 2012 summer season

Bigger. Better. Wetter thrills for Opening Day at the largest water park in North Texas!

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is kicking off the 2012 season with a splash and continuing its tradition of being number one for exhilarating water attraction fun. The new season begins Saturday, May 12.

Hurricane Harbor allows guests to enjoy more than 25 rides, slides, and pools across 47 acres with 3 million gallons of water.  Families can step out and enjoy the adventures at Hook’s Lagoon or relax at Boogie Beach.  While the experienced thrills seekers can enjoy Mega Wedgie, Sea Wolf, or The Black Hole.

Opening this summer, Dive Bomber is a 7-story free-fall water slide.   The anticipation of the 70 foot drop will definitely leave riders breathless! 

The park will be open for weekend operation throughout the month of May and will also be open on Memorial Day, May 28.  Daily operation will begin in June.  For more information, visit sixflags.com/hurricaneharbortexas.
