The search is on to hire for 1,500 seasonal positions
The Great Escape is gearing up for its 2012 season and is looking for the best of the best to be a part of this fun-filled season. The park is focused on filling approximately 1,500 positions with only the most qualified team members.
New this year, interested applicants must complete an online application at sixflagsjobs.com. Applicants are encouraged to complete applications by Sunday, March 25 to be considered for an invitation-only VIP hiring event. All applicants must be 14 years of age or older.
Great Escape representatives are seeking qualified, enthusiastic and friendly candidates who have the ability to provide excellent service to guests. Job opportunities are available for those interested in all aspects of the theme park industry including: guest services, food service, games, retail, ride operations, park services, security, entertainment and revenue control.
Last year a record number of people, more than 400, were interviewed during the traditional job fair. The theme park continues to be the number one seasonal employer in the region and is looking to interview 500 people at this year’s VIP Job Fair.
Selected candidates will be notified of an interview date and time via e-mail. No walk-up interviews will be available.

The Great Escape will open for the 2012 season on Saturday, May, 19.
