The Great Escape to roll out the Red Carpet for VIP Hiring Event
The search is on to hire for 1,500 seasonal positions
Six Flags Great Escape, upstate New York's favorite place to work and play, is gearing up for a dynamic 2013 and is looking for the best of the best candidates to be a part of this fun-filled season. The park is focused on filling approximately 1,500 positions with only the most qualified team members.
Great Escape representatives are seeking qualified, enthusiastic and friendly candidates with the ability to provide excellent service to guests. A variety of job opportunities are available for those interested in learning more about the theme park and hospitality industry including: games, rides, retail, food services, admissions, entertainment, guest relations, revenue control and security.
Again this year, interested applicants must complete an online application at sixflagsjobs.com. Applicants are encouraged to complete applications by Sunday, March 24 to be considered for an invitation-only VIP hiring event. All applicants must be 14 years of age or older.
Last year, 350 perspective team members were interviewed during the first ever VIP Hiring Event. The theme park continues to be the number one seasonal employer in the region and is looking to interview at least 450 people at this year’s event. Invited attendees will participate in group interviews, guest service scenarios and even Jenga.
Selected candidates will be notified of an interview date and time via e-mail. No walk-up interviews will be available.
For more information or questions about this year’s hiring process, applicants may contact the Human Resources office at 518.792.3500, ext. 3328. The Great Escape Human Resources Building on Round Pond Road will also be open Monday – Friday from 9:00AM-5:00PM for interested applicants to fill out an online application.
The Great Escape will open for the 2013 season on Saturday, May, 18.
