Great Escape’s Opening Weekend presented by Lowe’s kicks off May 19
Tickets to the park are available for just $20.12
The Great Escape begins another thrilling season on Saturday, May 19 with tickets available for just $20.12 at sixflags.com for opening weekend only. Guests who are unable to purchase tickets online may bring a non-perishable canned food items to the park on opening weekend and receive the special $20.12 admission. All canned goods will be donated to the Salvation Army. The park is open from 10:00am to 8:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday.

Great Escape Opening Weekend events include Slurpee Freeze Brain Contests on Saturday, May 19. Slurpees have come to The Great Escape this season and guests can register at the Live and Local Stage on Opening Day at 11:00am and 3:00pm to see who can drink six Slurpees the fastest for the chance to win great prizes!
This spring, Splashwater Kingdom will debut the all-new Alpine Freefalls, a six story, two level water slide complex for thrill seekers and competitors alike. The exciting attraction will boast the park’s first free fall speed slide with Skybox technology and the Northeast’s first of its kind mat racer. Alpine Freefalls will open Saturday, June 2.
Great Escape is open for weekends and select weekdays through June 13 when daily operations begin through Labor Day. Splashwater Kingdom opens for the season on May 26. Thrill seekers can enjoy the entire season including rides, shows, special events and more with a 2012 Season Pass available online at www.sixflags.com, for just $59.99, the lowest price in ten years, when you buy four or more. Guests can also purchase a Thrill Pass and get the rest of the summer for FREE for just $49.99, plus tax– the same price as a one-day admission ticket.
