Dale Jr's #88 Car to visit The Great Escape this Saturday

As the Sprint Cup Series schedule shifts its Spring Cup Series to the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Dale Earnhardt, Jr. #88 Chevy Impala will make its way to The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom this Saturday, May 17.  The Great Escape will open its doors to the public at 10am and the #88 car will remain at The Great Escape until 3pm.

It's an exciting year for NASCAR fans and a thrilling opportunity for fans of Dale Jr. as he makes his way down the schedule for the first time as a member of the Hendrick Motorsports Race Team.  Dale Jr. is currently ranked 3rd in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Standings.  All guests to The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom will have their chance to view Dale Earnhardt Jr's #88 National Guard Chevy Impala up close and personal in the Fest Area near the Bumper Cars.

A staff member of the Hendrick Motorsports Race Team will be on hand to provide guests with all the cool behind the scenes racing information.  Guests will receive a complimentary photo of the car while supplies last.  All guests will also have an opportunity to take pictures with the car.

This is an exciting time here at The Great Escape.  We've added several new rides and attractions, including the all new Wiggles World themed area for children and the new Mega Wedgie water slide which will make its debut on May 24 when Splashwater Kingdom opens.  We've also added new shows and improved amenities including new restaurants - all while keeping our admission prices flat.  The Great Escape offers an incredible value and a day of thrills for the entire family.
