Six Flags Great Escape Announces Marketing
and Sponsorship Alliance with Jack Link's Beef Jerky

Six Flags Great Escape announced today a partnership making Jack Link's Beef Jerky the official sponsor of Sasquatch, the park's exciting new drop ride opening May 9, 2009. This partnership will enhance the guest experience by providing up close interaction with Sasquatch, Jack Link's beloved brand icon and star of its Messin' With Sasquatch advertising campaign.
“The Sasquatch ride, towering at 19 stories, has already become an iconic symbol for this park,” said Don McCoy, Six Flags Great Escape Park President. “We are pleased to partner with Jack Link's Beef Jerky and their Sasquatch character to provide yet another powerful component to this new attraction.”
Jack Link's will be the sole presenting sponsor of Sasquatch. As part of the agreement, Six Flags and Jack Link's will collaborate on a number of co-branded marketing initiatives at The Great Escape via Six Flags Media Networks. These cross-promotional initiatives include Web site presence, in-park signage and media on Six Flags Television Network. Appearances by Jack Link's Mobile Marketing Tour will offer guests product samples and giveaways. In addition, select Jack Link's meat snacks will be available for sale at The Great Escape and several other Six Flags locations.
