Construction has begun on The Dark Knight Coaster, a new indoor dark coaster based
on Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming movie The Dark Knight, featuring DC Comics' character Batman. The Dark Knight Coaster is set to open this spring at Six Flags Great America.

Inside Theatre Royale the construction has begun. The large steel studs that are being framed will be the structure for the pre-show room.

Theatre Royale has been emptied out and cosmetic changes have begun to transform the building.

The first day of The Dark Knight Coaster construction! Trees are removed to clear the site and trucks carry away the debris. The site is located next to Superman Ultimate Flight which you can see in the background.
