Adjacent to the theme park, encounter nearly 1,200 exotic animals from six different continents in the largest drive-thru safari outside of Africa. Right next door, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor offers fun in the sun at the No. 1 water park in the Northeast.

Operating Schedule:
Six Flags Great Adventure kicks off its 39th season with Opening Weekend Presented by Lowe’s April 5 and runs daily through April 15 for Spring Break Presented by WONKA® NERDS®. The park operates weekends through May 20, with daily operation beginning May 23 and running through Sept. 3, plus weekends through Oct. 28. For hours and opearting calendar are available online.
2012 PARK HIGHLIGHTS
New! SkyScreamer – Theme park guests have more to scream about with the introduction of SkyScreamer, the newest sensation in tower rides. The 24-story SkyScreamer swings riders in a 98-ft. circle at speeds of 40 mph high above the newly-themed area, Adventure Alley.
New! Adventure Alley – Experience the thrills, fun and nostalgia of the newly-themed Adventure Alley. Featuring rides beloved both yesterday and today, Adventure Alley will offer classic, new bumper cars named Fender Benders; a music-themed scrambler, Déjà Vu; and Air Jumbo, a flying elephant ride, along with the iconic Big Wheel, a 150-foot Ferris wheel.
