Six Flags Great Adventure theme park invites guests of all ages to enjoy a unique variety of family-friendly entertainment including hands-on animal exhibits, interactive entertainment and top-notch concerts. New! Professor Slithers’ Challenge – Children can participate in this family-friendly comedy show featuring Professor Slithers and his assistant Fred McMahon. Spin the wheel and test your knowledge against Professor Slithers. Guests can experience the laughs at Adventure Theater in the Safari Kids area.
New! We Got the Beat! –The Looney Tunes serve up their best in dance and song! Families can join Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety and their Looney Tunes pals in this 80’s-style musical extravaganza. Kids can meet-and-greet the stars after the show. Located at the Wilderness Theater in Bugs Bunny National Park.
Safari Discoveries – Guests can enjoy up-close animal encounters at Safari Discoveries, located in Six Flags Great Adventure’s Golden Kingdom. The area features walk-thru aviary – Parakeet Paradise; a Wild Safari nursery featuring exotic animal babies including African lion cubs; and animal educators showcasing animals such as giant Flemish rabbits, miniature Vietnamese potbelly pigs, snakes and more.
- Safari Express Tour - Take a break and beat the heat with an air-conditioned tour of the Wild Safari. Tour length is 1 hour and available at Safari Discoveries for an additional fee.
- Close Encounters Tour – Jump aboard an air-conditioned, guided bus tour of the Wild Safari. Guests will have the rare opportunity to exit the tour bus and feed graceful giraffes. Tour lasts 90 minutes and seats are limited. Purchase at Safari Discoveries for an additional fee.
Flippers & Fins: Behind the Behaviors – Audience members join in the fun with their flippered friends in this interactive show starring California sea lions. See how our trainers work with these amazing and playful marine mammals. Check out show guide for dates and times.
Character Meet and Greets – Take photos and gather autographs from your favorite Looney Tunes pals and JUSTICE LEAGUE Super Heroes. Located on Main Street and Fantasy Forest next to the Big Wheel.
Six Flags Dance Party – Dance to popular party tunes with your favorite Looney Tunes friends all season long. Located on Main Street. Check show guide for dates and times.
Live & Local Music Showcase – Six Flags Great Adventure presents the Live & Local Music Showcase featuring local bands performing popular hits and original music on the Festival Stage. Program begins May 25 and runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through October 28.

Fright Fest – Kickoff the Halloween season with frightfully fun entertainment at Six Flags Great Adventure’s Fright Fest, “The Northeast’s Largest Halloween Party.” Now six weeks of screams, Fright Fest promises its most terrifying season yet filled with new shows, angry zombies and ghastly, new terror trail themes. Event begins Sept. 22 and runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 28, plus Columbus Day, Oct. 8.
