Special Events

Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest

Saturday, July 4, 2009 - Kids between the ages of six and thirteen are invited to come join us for our First Annual Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest brought to you by The National Watermelon Association, Pathmark andThe Wumblers.  The National Watermelon Queen will be handing out FREE watermelon slices from 12:30pm until 3:30pm compliments of Sweet Mama Produce.  Proceeds from all Baby Wumblers sold at the event will be donated to Tuesday's Children - kids helping kids. Contest runs 10:30am until 12:00pm and 4:00pm until 6:00pm in Frontier Adventures.

Mitchel Musso and Honor Society In Concert

Six Flags Great Adventure welcomes Mitchel Musso of The Disney Channel's Hannah Montana and Honor Society to the STARBURST® Summer Concert Series. Catch Mitchel's newest songs from the debut album Mitchel Musso, including his single "The In Crowd". And don't miss up-and-comers, Honor Society as they rock through tracks from their latest album, A Tale of Risky Business, live at the Northern Star Arena July 16 at 7 p.m. Concert is included with theme park admission or your 2009 Season Pass.
