The Siberian Tiger is the largest of the cat family. Males can weigh 600 lbs and reach up to 14 feet (including a 3 ft. tail). These tigers are excellent swimmers, have amazing eye sight and hearing, but a poor sense of smell. Siberian tigers originate from northern Manchuria and southeast Siberia. Due to the cold climate in these areas, they have a thick coat of fur to insulate them from below zero temperatures.
