Return to Six Flags Fiesta Texas for ‘Holiday in the Park’

It’s time to celebrate the most magical and delightful time of the year with Holiday in the Park! Delicious hot chocolate, magical holiday shows and Jolly Ole St. Nick return to Six Flags Fiesta Texas this festive holiday season. Bring the entire family for some holiday cheer featuring thrilling rides, festive treats and exciting holiday themed shows. From November 23 through January 6 the park is transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of colorful twinkling lights throughout the park, carolers performing classic yuletide favorites and personalized meet - and - greets with Santa and his helpers.
America’s favorite show park announces the return of the best in live holiday entertainment, including the season’s most popular show, the Majesty of Christmas. This holiday spectacular delivers an exciting visual reenactment of the Nativity, including breathtaking vocal performances by Mary and Joseph, a manger surrounded by live animals, and angels flying through the sky. This magical show comes to life at the Zaragoza Theatre through December 23.
Contemporary winter classics like “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Boogie Woogie Santa Claus” resonate in Sangerfest Halle during the return of Happy Holidays! Passing through the streets of Rockville, guests will be greeted by the Rockville Dickens Carolers and in Texas State Square Magical Musical Lights offers a remarkable lighting display to be enjoyed throughout the evening.
For the little ones in your group, Santa’s Castle provides the ultimate walk-through experience where guests may see the elves hard at work preparing toys for good girls and boys, enjoy beautiful holiday décor and personally meet and greet Santa at the conclusion of your visit. Get into the spirit of the season with Bugs and his Looney Tunes friends during Have Yourself a Looney Tunes Christmas. Stop by Teatro Fiesta to sing and dance along to family favorites like “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Feliz Navidad.” Santa’s Castle and Have Yourself a Looney Tunes Christmas will continue through December 23.
This holiday season guests may experience modern iceless skating in South Texas at Frostee’s Skating Rink. Pick up a pair of skates and glide through a wonderland adorned with glittering Christmas lights and brimming with holiday spirit. Skates provided; must be at least 36” to participate.
Situated in the heart of Rockville stands the park’s 60-foot Christmas Tree. Adorned with thousands of brilliant lights and sparkling ornaments, this sight is sure to put a smile on the face of any Scrooge this time of year. Join in on the special tree-lighting ceremony taking place every evening during this winter celebration to commemorate the holiday season.
Holiday in the Park also offers thrilling rides and fun for the whole family including the ultimate Goliath inverted coaster, the 200-ft. tall SkyScreamer, and delightful children’s play area in Spassburg. Once you’ve hit some rides, enjoy tasty holiday park treats including apple turnovers, turkey legs, and hot chocolate with special mix-ins located in Santa’s Hot Chocolate Tent located in Santa’s Village!
Six Flags Fiesta Texas 2013 Season Passes are now on sale at the lowest prices of the year and provide unlimited visits for the rest of the 2012 season (including Holiday in the Park) and all of 2013. For a limited time, with the purchase of a Season Pass four-pack, guests will receive a free upgrade to a Gold Season Pass which includes free admission and free season parking to any Six Flags Theme Park with every pass. Six Flags Fiesta Texas will be closed Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. Certain rides, shows and attractions will not be in operation during Holiday in the Park. Santa’s Castle, The Majesty of Christmas and Have Yourself a Looney Tunes Christmas will continue through December 23, and select shows, rides, attractions and holiday décor will be available through January 6.
