Spring 2008
Six Flags Fiesta Texas Now Open Weekends With Exciting New Shows and Coaster on the Horizon
Enjoy an award-winning musical experience as Six Flags Fiesta Texas offers a variety of exhilarating shows now, with even more set to debut this summer! Come see why Fiesta Texas has been recognized with the Golden Ticket award for the "best theme park shows in the country" for an astounding nine consecutive years! Enjoy the recently updated Platinum Country and Down Home Country shows, Latin Explosion featuring Roni in Teatro Fiesta and the ever-popular Rockin' at Rockville High.
Platinum Country, showcased at the Sundance Theatre, features a live band as part of the talented cast performing favorites from such artists as Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, the Dixie Chicks and more! Alternating performances with Platinum Country is Down Home Country, with hits from the Golden Age of Country, including such favorites as "Honkey Tonk Angels," "Hey Good Lookin'" and "Stand By Your Man."
New shows debuting this summer include Looney Tunes Talent Show, Country Rocks! and "Groovin' at Rockville High," a nostalgic look back at the decade of the '70s through favorite tunes of the era. Additionally this summer, experience brass and percussion as never before with the heart pounding show, Blast Fever! Also later in the season, look for the return of the award-winning Lone Star Spectacular.
All this featured entertainment is, of course, in addition to thrilling ride selections such as Superman Krypton Coaster, Tony Hawk's Big Spin family coaster, Scream Tower Drop attraction and Bugs' White Water Rapids flume ride. Nearing completion this spring is Goliath suspended looping coaster. Goliath combines state-of-the-art thrill technology and provides a completely different riding sensation than any of our other seven coasters.
In ski-lift style chairs suspended from the track above, Goliath sends riders flying at intense speeds numerous times over the outside of hairpin turns, vertical loops, corkscrews and a one-of-a-kind zero-gravity heartline spin with nothing but air beneath their feet.
