at Six Flags Fiesta Texas Along With a New Summer Show Line-Up
Debuting June 3, Six Flags Fiesta Texas introduces Blast Fever, a heart—pounding brass and percussion extravaganza that takes the genre of the drum and bugle corps and elevates it to a whole new art form! Showcased in the Zaragoza Theatre, witness over 30 performers develop a musical and visual experience that is unlike any other. Blast Fever combines the virtuosity and precision of a marching band with the lighting, props, costumes, and choreography of musical theatre to create a stimulating visual ensemble. Blast Fever unites a variety of musical styles including brass solos, battling percussion, and collections infusing both styles for a fast—paced, rhythm—stomping show! Combined with the visual elegance of color guard and props, Blast Fever is an explosion of music and vibrant theatre not to be missed!
Enjoy a line—up of all new shows from the country's number one show park. Country Rocks! features a live band as part of the talented cast for a tribute to some favorite southern style rock and roll country classics including "Already Gone" by the Eagles, "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" by Georgia Satellites and "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" by The Charlie Daniels Band.
Also, take a nostalgic trip through the decade of the '70s with Groovin' at Rockville High. Join a new generation of students from Rockville High as they prepare for prom while trying to settle the age—old question: rock or disco? Watch the musical battle play out in this interactive show that puts the ending in your hands! All these in addition to other favorites such as Looney Tunes Talent Show, Rockin' at Rockville High, Latin Explosion, and Platinum Country.
The ultimate ice cream experience just got even better with Sundaes with Scooby—Doo, Presented by Cold Stone Creamery! Every Saturday and Sunday from May 24 through September 7, enjoy delicious frozen treats while interacting with Scooby—Doo himself! The event occurs at 1 and 5 p.m. and is open to kids and adults for a nominal price. Tickets may be purchased in advance by visiting sixflags.com or the Hospitality Center on the day of your visit.
Now featured weekends, witness the return of the Golden Ticket award—winning Lone Star Spectacular laser and fireworks extravaganza. Named "Best Outdoor Night Show" by Amusement Today Magazine, this edition explores the traditions and heritage found in the great state of Texas. Projected on a quarry wall, this multi—media experience is a perfect ending to the Fiesta Texas adventure.
For eight consecutive weeks, witness extraordinary performances during The Starburst Thursday Night Concert Series beginning June 19 with teen—pop sensations, Aly & AJ! Additional performers include the new generation of Menudo, actor and R&B singer, Mario, "Making The Band 3" group Danity Kane, singer—songwriter Gavin DeGraw and Hip—Hop artist Flo—Rida. Closing out the concert run will be musical artist and actress, Raven, on August 7. Concerts begin promptly at 6 p.m. at Lone Star Lil's and are free with park admission. Concert seating is limited and tickets are available on a first—come, first—served basis.
Fiesta Texas is now open daily beginning at 10:30 a.m., Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Closing hours vary by day, please visit sixflags.com for full operating calendar. White Water Bay, Fiesta Texas' free waterpark, is open weekends from noon to 7 p.m. Waterpark daily operation begins June 6.
