Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is Northern California's only combination wildlife, oceanarium and theme park. Fun for the entire family, the park has three themed kid play areas: Thomas Town, based on the popular Thomas the Tank Engine series; Looney Tunes Seaport with rides and attractions starring Bugs Bunny and all of his friends and Tava's Jungleland, a family-friendly animal themed area with gentle rides for the youngest set to enjoy. Amazing wildlife shows include Shouka Celebration, starring Shouka, the killer whale, Merlin's Island Party, a party in-water showcasing Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, Pinnipeds of the Caribbean with those engaging California sea lions, and much more. New for 2009, watch for Odin's Temple of the Tiger, a new tiger exhibit and show venue for Odin, the world's only underwater diving white Bengal tiger, along with the rest of the park's beautiful tigers.
