SIX FLAGS DISCOVERY KINGDOM’S SPRING BREAK PRESENTED BY STRIDE® GUM
Spring Break revelers celebrate Medusa's 10th anniversary
Spring is in the air as Spring Break Presented by Stride® Gum arrives March 25 at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Spring Break runs daily through April 11 with a thrilling line-up of non-stop fun, contests and adventures including exclusive ride time on Medusa, the West Coast’s first floorless looping coaster.
Since opening in March 2000, more than 9.7 million guests have experienced Medusa’s unique two-inversion “sea serpent” feature while racing along at 65 mph. In celebration of one of Northern California’s most exciting coasters, 2010 Season Pass holders are invited to participate in the Stride®-A-Thon — an exclusive ride time event from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. daily during Spring Break. Commemorative Medusa-themed prizes will be given away at the park and via the park’s Facebook page.
On Saturday, March 27, live and local bands will perform on the hour as part of Stride®-A-Palooza, with talented musicians taking the Oasis Stage by storm. From April 2-6, park guests may have to cover their ears during the Ridiculously Long Lasting Scream Contest. Contestants with strong lungs can vie for a chance to win daily prizes.
Spring Break offers entertainment for every member of the family. Take a bird’s eye-view in the new Birds of the World Show and get the facts about animals in the new Animal Mythcrushers show. See Lola Bunny join Bugs Bunny and Friends in the all-new LOONEY TUNES Dance-Off and for the first time ever, feed sting rays in Ray Bay. Observe the beauty and grace of Shouka the killer whale in Celebrate Shouka and shake it up at Merlin’s Island Party dolphin show presented by Hawaiian Airlines.
For a limited time, Season Passes are available for the low price of $49.99, a savings of $20 and just $5 more than a one-day ticket. Season Passes offer unlimited visits to any Six Flags theme park in the United States. Purchase a Season Pass and receive a value-book with hundreds of dollars on in-park savings, free tickets for friends and family (valid on select days only), and opportunities for exclusive events.
