FRIGHT FEST PRESENTED BY SNICKERS® 2009
AT SIX FLAGS DISCOVERY KINGDOM

FRIGHT FEST Presented by Snickers®, Northern California's original Halloween theme park event, transforms Six Flags Discovery Kingdom into a shadow land of zombies, ghosts and ghouls starting October 3 and runs Saturdays and Sundays through November 1 (also open Friday, October 23 & 30). During the day, enjoy family-friendly activities including trick or treating, shows and entertainment and at night, brave haunted mazes, themed scare zones and spooky theatrical productions.

This year, Fright Fest returns in a decidedly horrific turn, as the park unveils
Bayou Hazard, a ghoulish all-new haunted maze that takes guests through a gruesome meat packing plant. In addition to the new Bayou Hazard maze, the new Holiday House of Horror haunted maze will terrorize fright-seekers as they make their way through the dark corridors of this bone-chilling homage to holidays of all kinds. A nominal fee is required to enjoy the haunted mazes.

For individuals willing to test their sensitive palates, they can spin for with chances to win prizes. The catch, of course, is that they must consume inedible edibles, such as hot peppers, in order to win a prize. As dusk falls into darkness, the nightly Funeral Procession, a parade of ghouls and ghastly beings takes place, leading into a sinister street performance with Mr. Six's Spookacular
Dance Party.

For kids, frightening fun is in store with the Dracula Kids Magic Show and treats along the Twick or Tweet Twail; for the whole family, the park's marine mammals take on Halloween in the Super Spooky Sea Lion Show; guests are in for a real treat as the park's dolphins put their own “retro spin” in the all new
Club Cetacean show while Shouka stars in Shouka Nights, a nighttime showcase for the talented killer whale.

SNICKERS® Presents Fright Fest opens on October 3 and runs weekends through November 1. Operating hours vary. For more information and to purchase tickets, call (707) 643-6722 or visit www.sixflags.com/discoverykingdom.
