Six Flags America Hosts 2012 Auditions
Maryland theme park hiring performers for season of brand-new shows 

Six Flags America, the nation’s capital of thrilling family entertainment, announces audition dates for the 2012 season of shows. The park seeks dancers, stunt performers, specialty acts, and character performers to entertain Six Flags America guests in all-new productions. Shows at Six Flags America in 2012 will include a stunt spectacular, “streetmosphere,” and participatory family shows. Contracts will commence in March 2012 through the end of the regular theme park season in September.

Auditions will take place on the following dates at Six Flags America, located at 13710 Central Avenue (MD Route 214) in Upper Marlboro, Maryland:

• Sunday, January 29, 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday, February 4, 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday, February 11, 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
• Sunday, February 12, 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

All prospective Six Flags America entertainers must pre-register for auditions by visiting sixflagsjobs.com and completing an online application. Prospective performers attending the auditions should bring a resume and headshot and dress comfortably as dancing or movement may be requested of all applicants. Those applying for speaking roles in productions should also prepare a one-minute monologue, dancers should prepare a 2-minute hip-hop routine, and specialty acts should prepare a 2-minute routine to showcase their talents. Interested performers not able to attend the audition events may send resumes and headshots to the Six Flags America Entertainment Department, PO Box 4210, Largo, MD 20775.
