Six Flags America Seeks Blood!
Maryland theme park kicks off Fright Fest 2011 with a blood drive October 1
WHAT:
Six Flags America hosts a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross (Greater Chesapeake Region) to kick off Fright Fest 2011, the region’s largest, best, and SCARIEST Halloween event.

Saturday, October 1, 2011 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Six Flags America, 13710 Central Avenue, Upper Marlboro, MD (off Route 214)
ABOUT THE EVENT:
As Six Flags America begins its annual Fright Fest Halloween Celebration, the Maryland theme park is bringing awareness to something much scarier than ghouls and zombies: empty blood banks. To combat the need for blood in Baltimore and Washington region, Six Flags America has teamed up with the American Red Cross (Greater Chesapeake Region), to host a blood drive at the park. Blood donors who participate at the drive will receive one complimentary ticket to visit Six Flags America any day during Fright Fest.

It’s Thrills by Day, Frights by Night at Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS® this October at Six Flags America. At Six Flags America, the daytime thrills include the Trick or Treat Trail, Halloween activities for the kids, and all your favorite theme park rides. The frights come out at night when the park completely transforms itself into a Halloween haven for zombies and creatures, with exhilarating haunted attractions- including the new Backwoods Bloodshed, Maryland’s longest terror trail; hair-raising shows; and scream-inducing night rides on Six Flags America’s world-class coasters.
