Looking to have audiences SCREAMING?

Six Flags America to host auditions for Annual Fright Fest

Are you a gifted ghost or goblin looking to “scare up” some extra cash this Halloween season? Six Flags America, Maryland's premier destination for thrilling entertainment, is on the hunt for singers, dancers, and actors to inspire chills and have audiences screaming and cheering at its annual Fright Fest.

Six Flags America is seeking talented “boils and ghouls” for its Halloween-themed song and dance revues, to perform in the park's haunted walk-through attractions, and to fill spooky roles as in-park monsters, zombies, and other assorted creatures of the night. Auditions will be held on Wednesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 27 at Six Flags America from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. All candidates must pre-register by calling the Six Flags America Entertainment Hotline at (301) 249-1500 ext. 5092. Candidates should bring a recent headshot and resume, be prepared to move, sing and act, and show a sense of “boo-mur.” Halloween costumes are not permitted at auditions. Actual werewolves, vampires, and zombies must show proof of recent rabies vaccination.

Six Flags America's Fright Fest is the Baltimore/ Washington area's largest and most delightful and frightful Halloween experience. Six Flags America offers family-friendly thrills during the day with a special Halloween-themed children's area and all of the park's signature rides, games, and attractions. In the evening, the park shifts to a chilling domain where monsters lurk in dark alleys and roller coasters like BATWING and SUPERMAN: Ride of Steel aren't the only things inspiring screams.

Fright Fest will be presented each Saturday and Sunday for five “spook-tacular” weekends, beginning October 3, 2009 through November 1, 2009, with a bonus Friday, October 30, 2009 operating day. To learn more or purchase tickets, visit www.sixflags.com.
